Production Logo
My partner and I recently discussed our company logo. We decided to use the name "Day Dream" for our logo and started designing it on Canva. We combined our ideas and different designs to create several options and determine the best logo for our company
Our design
After some research, we think that making our company logo on Canva is not very professional so we looked on the internet to get some of the idea and we decided to make it on Adobe Photoshop
Initial Overview
My teammate and I are working on a music video project this year. We decided to choose a song that only has an audio version so we can put our own ideas into the video. We opted for the Pop genre because it appeals to most teenagers who are our target audience. Pop music is also a popular genre for music videos and can easily capture the audience's emotions. Our objective is to convey a meaningful message about love in this project. We aim to help those who are struggling with love and feeling sad by empowering them to be stronger and happier in every moment, as everyone deserves to be loved. Our strengths in editing and camera techniques will be essential in bringing our ideas to life and delivering the best quality of music video to the audience. Our goal is to provide a good experience for the audience and help them understand the message that we want to convey.
Inspiration
There are three popular Vietnamese songs with high-quality music videos that have inspired me a lot. I would like to incorporate some of their ideas into my own music project. These are pop and hip hop music videos that have really caught my attention.
The music video features various city infrastructure such as buildings and streets, providing diverse themes and engaging the audience. We would like to incorporate this idea into our music video, when it is centered around life and love. Filming the music video around iconic streets and buildings in Hanoi city during the evening or night using low key light can evoke the theme of the darker side of life. This approach can provide a sense of sadness and introspection, lots of confide allowing the audience to connect with the characters.
It's interesting to see that Andrew Goodwin's theory is being applied in many modern music videos. Our music video will also focus on incorporating Goodwin's ideas. to focus on that in our music video
There are some of the scene examples in a music video that I want to use in my music project

Posters of releasing work promoted on social Photos of members both professionally taken and more personalized style
Album Cover Inspiration
We are planning to create a 6 panel digipack that will incorporate the themes of the city and the use of pastel colors in the fonts on the cover. Additionally, we aim to include a subtle blurry effect and distortion to convey that the main character is hiding himself in a crowded place.
The color scheme we plan to use
Song Choice
Over the past few weeks, my teammate and I have looked at a lot of songs from different singers for our project. In the end, we both decided to choose the song "Limbo" by Keishi. We have the same taste in music, so we are very happy with our choice.
Final Song Choice
We have finalized the song for our music video, which will only have an audio version. This will help us in creating a better idea for the music video. Although the song has a steady tempo, we plan to establish an interesting plot that will engage the audience and make them hooked to it.

Lyric Analysis
I've just been goin' through motions, back and forth like a ocean
I am a fraud, I am the shit, hoping that nobody notice
Bang chest in the morning, head down in the night
Drink less if I wanted, strike up with a light
And square up, I'm the mightiest
Myself in the fight, hurt twice, but I tried it
No advice for this shit, might die for this shit
Do I feel alive, feel alive, feel alive?
Feel more like limbo, hands out my window
Chasin' that sunset, that's more my tempo
Yeah, that's more my tempo
Ooh, but this is all that I am
I only show you the best of me
The best of me
Looked in my demons and saw myself
Put all my meaning in someone else
Outta sight, outta mind, don't know where to find it
Don't know where to hide, but I still
Eat good, drink good, feel good, it's all good
Can't hear my head when I'm sat beside ya
Fucked lungs and a liver, good looks in the mirror
Do I feel alive, feel alive, feel alive?
Feel more like limbo, hands out my window
Chasin' that sunset, that's more my tempo
That's more my tempo
ooh, but this is all that I am
I'll only show you the best of me
The best of me
Ooh, tryin', but I'm just a man
Hopin' it won't get the best of me
The best of me

Mise-En-Scene
Music Video Setting
We are planning to shoot our music video mostly on the streets of Hanoi, particularly in some of the famous old quarter areas such as Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngo Quyen Street. We aim to incorporate the cultural essence of Hanoi in this music video.
Street Setting
This is the street that we plan to film in the morning and afternoon . The reason we choose these place because this is the place that teenager usually hanging around everyday
Livingroom
Livingroom of the main character should be in a dark style where the character can express his real emotion when he is alone. The decoration should present a teenager-style
Street at night
We also filmed a shot of the character walking around the streets of Hanoi at night to contrast with the main character's feelings during the day. We utilized the street lights as our primary source of lighting for the night scene.
Loccation Recce
Mien Man coffee
Mien Man is a well-known coffee shop situated in Hanoi. One of the things we adore about this location is its peaceful ambiance, which is achieved through the clever use of flower decorations and cloud designs, combined with a modern touch that appeals to young customers. Additionally, the main color scheme of the place is dark, which perfectly captures the mood of our upcoming music video. Our main character is depicted as sad and lonely, and the dark tones of the coffee shop will help to reflect this mood in our video.
However this space is a bit small so its might bother to other customer or its might damage to the equipment
My Dinh stadium
For the night driving scene we have a option of My Dinh stadium where it has a wide road and less people travel here at night therefore its safety for the character when driving the car
However the lighting at night on this road its not really good so we have to find the location on this road that have a good lighting
My Dinh stadium
"We are planning to film a love scene on Ho Guom street, which is a signature street of Hanoi. We chose this location because it showcases the traditional aspects of Hanoi, and our music video will offer a glimpse of our cultural heritage. The lighting is excellent both during the day and night. However, we anticipate that filming in this crowded place may pose some challenges. We may face difficulties due to people moving in front of our camera or distracting our characters."
